Anti-Piracy Protection for E-Books

How to Enable Anti-Piracy Protection for Your E-books

This feature is designed to protect your content from piracy.
When enabled, your clients' information (name and email) will be displayed on all the pages of the e-book.

Activating Anti-Piracy Protection

In the Members' area, select your product. And go to the Settings tab.

Scroll down to the Anti-Piracy section:

A watermark, consisting of the name and email of the buyer, will be inserted at the top of all pages.

Additional Protective Measures

After activating the watermark, you can also enable other protective options:

Block Ctrl+C: This prevents the customer from copying the content of the e-book.

Block print option: This prevents the customer from printing physical copies of the content using Adobe Reader. Note that they may still be able to print if they use a different PDF reader.

Password protection: The e-book will require a password to be opened. (The password will be the buyer's email)

Be sure to inform your students about the password! You can include this information in the content of the class where the e-book is located.
