Connecting a Facebook Ads Verified Domain (Pixel)

How to Connect Facebook Ads Verified Domain

With the new iOS 14 update, Facebook now requires that your conversion Pixel be triggered on your verified website domain.

You can connect this domain (or multiple domains) to Kiwify, enabling the Pixel to fire on it, thereby preventing any tracking issues on Facebook.

Kiwify is capable of triggering the Pixel within your domain, using a subdomain format like pixels.yourwebsite.com

Connecting Your Domain on Kiwify

Go to the Products menu, select your product, and navigate to the Settings tab. In the Conversion Pixels section, click on the "Manage Facebook Domains" link:

Then click on Add domain

Enter your base domain and confirm.

DNS Settings

For the second part of the settings, log into the platform where you registered your domain or manage your DNS (this could be GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, etc.).

Create a CNAME entry, with the value "pixels", and point it to pixels.kiwify.com.br.

![The "TTL" field will be filled in according to the registration platform you are using. It is not always "auto".]

If you use Cloudflare, create the entry without a proxy, i.e. "DNS only"

Verifying Your Domain

Adding a domain will immediately allow it to be used to trigger Pixels. Verification isn't mandatory.

To verify that the domain has been properly configured, click on it:

Then click on Verify Domain. It may take around 15-20 seconds to load.

When the icon turns green, your domain has been successfully configured!

DNS propagation may take a few hours for the domain to be verified.

If you later change the domain nameservers or alter/remove the CNAME entry you created, the Pixel will cease to function.

Checking if the DNS Entry Was Added Correctly

It's simple to check if everything is set up correctly! First, go to the MX toolbox website.

In the search bar, enter: pixels.yourdomain.com.br replacing "yourdomain.com.br" with the one you're using.

If the configuration is correct, a green checkmark will appear, showing that it points to Kiwify!

You can also confirm the website on which the domain is registered!

Using Your Domain to Trigger Pixels

In the Facebook Pixels configuration section, select the domain where you want the Pixel to trigger.

Different Pixels can trigger on different domains, or on the same domain. You can manage them according to your needs!
