# How to Configure a Certificate

# Creating and Customizing Your Completion Certificate

You have the option to provide a completion certificate that is fully customizable for your students. This feature is available for products that utilize Kiwify's members' area for content delivery.

Once your student completes the course in its entirety, the certificate will be immediately available for download.

### Enabling the certificate

To begin, you need to activate the certificate feature for your course.

Within your product's Members' Area, click on the **Settings** tab and scroll down to **Certificate**:

Don't forget to save your changes! 

|| If you no longer want certificates to be generated, you can simply turn off this feature at any time.

### Customizing the certificate

Upon enabling the certificate feature, a new tab labeled **Certificate** will appear in your top menu. Click on this tab to proceed.

The platform automatically collects and integrates the following information into the certificate using tags:

* {STUDENT_NAME}: The full name of the student
* {COURSE}: The name of the course/product
* {COMPLETION_DATE}: The date when the course was completed
* {INSTRUCTOR}: Name of expert/producer 

| You also have the option to include a class tag! Feel free to position these tags wherever you prefer on the certificate.

### Additional Customization Options:

* Font color
* Inclusion of images and text boxes
* Certificate background image

| You can preview your certificate at any point by clicking the preview button located at the top or bottom of the page.

Remember to save your changes once you're done!
